Jason Makes Stuff

Jason Makes Stuff is my own personal storefront on which I sell my designs / products as well as some other small items. It started as an Etsy store a couple of years ago but has since moved to be hosted here on this very website too. The core of Jason Makes Stuff is coffee tools & equipment, however we also work with individuals or businesses to provide bespoke solutions.

Jason Makes Stuff is something I work on in my spare or free time as it allows me to make use of my 3D design skills and delve into my passion for 3D printing. Some of the products I have designed include WDT tools which you can read more about here as well as other products such as tube racks.

My favourite part about this project is getting to learn new skills such as Fusion 360 / CAD modelling. As someone with a more art focused background when it comes to 3D modelling this was initially a challenge. But by working through that initial struggle and learning about CAD modelling I found a new way to express my ideas and to solve everyday problems in my life. I am by no means and expert when it comes to CAD or Fusion 360 but being able to create parametric models which can be adapted by changing variables is a super satisfying feeling.

I hope to spend more time in the future working on this project and to create more useful products for the coffee community and beyond.
